Happy WIAW, 2012!

When it comes I wanna wail “WHATIATEWEDNESDAYTUESDAY!”

Last week of winter break. Soaking it all up before I dive head first into second semester!

Meal #1 (6:30am):

Of course, the usual.

Oatmeal with ON Chocolate PB, flaxseed, and maple syrup.

Workout (7:30am-8:30am):

Ran 3 miles + a little elliptical action. Foam roll and stretch.

Meal #2 (9:30am):

Favorite protein bar recipe.

Pumpkin Protein Bars.

Errands (10:00am):

I did it. I took the scary frightening terrifying plunge and drove my new car to the store. While this may not seem like a big deal to some, this is the first time I’ve driven my car on my own on real streets. With lights and stop signs and turns and other people. And, yes, I did stall out, but luckily it wasn’t in very important places… like in the middle of an intersection. Anyways, I got to the grocery store and back in one piece. I’m proud of myself and feel better about having to drive to my internship orientation Wednesday morning!

Yesterday I was talking to one of my girl friends about my car and how scary it is and I had to explain to her what a manual transmission car is! She’s only a year younger than me but it made me feel so old! And I can’t even drink legally yet!

Meal #3 (12:30pm):

Favorite meal as of late.

Broccoli with nooch and balsamic + Flatout with swiss cheese and chicken.

Plus watched the newest episode of Pretty Little Liars.

Meal #4 (3:30pm):

Favorite tea: Kombucha Green Tea from Yogi

Egg whites + Apple Crumb Vitatop.

Worked on articles for College Lifestyles. I have some good ones planned for this month. At least 6 coming your way in January!

Meal #5 (6:30pm):

Broccoli, brown rice, tuna, and balsamic.

I meant to add Italian dressing to this instead of balsamic, but I was distracted talking on the phone and so grabbed the wrong bottle. It didn’t taste bad, but it wasn’t particularly good either. Guess I should pay better attention!

Followed by some vanilla pudding for dessert.

Meal #6 (9:00pm):

Nightly ritual… cottage cheese!

Early to bed, early to rise.

How many of you guys are still on break?

What time do you get up in the morning?

  1. Brown rice… tuna… and balsamic… that sounds crazy good. Gotta try it. And I can’t find vitamuffins anywhere. Wah! I’m so jealous.
